Maryland DNR Challenge: Brackish Water Protocols
Maryland Department of Natural Resources Challenge Description:
Students will design a biological protocol to ascertain water quality in brackish water. There are hundreds of protocols using macro invertebrates found in fresh water to assess water quality. Since there are little if any insects in brackish water, other biological procedures must be developed.
